we warmly welcome you at Villa Harmony. Please feel at home with us! We will do our best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Enjoy the most precious time of the year – your holiday – to the fullest, we will take care of the rest!

Our prudent and competent manager and host on site, Ms. Melani Jurišić, will be pleased to take care of your concerns during your entire stay here in Veliko Brdo. She will also be glad to answer any questions you may have about restaurant reservations, catering services, boat bookings, excursions and transfers or similar. Contact Melani at any time if you need help or information. As soon as you arrive, your host will guide you through the villa and explain everything you need to know about this oasis of well-being.

We have put a lot of effort and passion into the design of the house. We therefore also thank you for your careful and respectful treatment of our accomodation and inventory. Herewith you will help us to continue to provide the home on these terms.

The following “General Information & Terms of Use” should help everyone involved to enjoy a social harmony. We appreciate your sense of responsibility to respect the benefits of our house rules and to comply with them. We appreciate your understanding of the importance of these house rules and urge you to comply with them.

Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-In is daily from 04:00 till 11:00 PM.
  • Check-Out is daily from 07:00 till 10:00 AM.
  • Arrival or departure times that differ from this must be agreed individually with the host.
  • For the purpose of the required tourist registration, we ask you to identify yourself to us.
  • Persons who are not registered as guests may not live and stay overnight in the house without the host’s permission.

  • The WLAN password you may find in the “information” folder next to the TV in the living room.

First Aid Kit

  • The first aid box is located in the kitchen cupboard above the oven.

Duty of Diligence and reporting on the part of guests

  • We kindly ask you to treat the rented unit, including the furniture and equipment, as well as the greenery with care. We are extremely grateful for that.
  • Any time you leave the vacation rental, you must ensure that electrical appliance is turned off, all water pipes, windows and doors are closed and doors are locked. This provides security and protects against water and heavy weather damage.
  • You should not let the air conditioning on with windows and doors open and you should also switch it off if you leave the house. Our Recommendation based upon sustainable and thermophysical aspects: The optimal cooling effect is achieved when the thermostat is constantly set to 24°C, windows and doors are always closed and the cooling unit runs continuously. It makes no sense to set the controller to 16°C, as this temperature cannot be reached. The appliance also will switch off automatically if it is overloaded.
  • It is not allowed to bring any weapon, flammable and explosive substances, things that have a strong and unpleasant smell.
  • You may not rearrange furniture or equipment within the building or move from the interior to the exterior (chairs from the dining room to the terrace, kitchen appliances for preparation of food to the outside, etc.)
  • The host and the owners of Villa Harmony are not liable for any property damage or personal injury suffered by their guests in case of accidents.
  • Please close all the terrace doors and lock the front door when you go to bed.
  • If you intend to be absent for two days or more, the host needs to be informed in advance.
  • Please report any device malfunctions or other defects to the host immediately so that they can be rectified as quickly as possible.

Duty of Supervision of legal guardians

  • We endeavor to make our vacation accommodation as child-friendly as possible. To maintain this motivation, we ask for your reliable support.
  • Never leave children unattended in the rental property.
  • Parents or legal guardians are responsible for the safety of their children at all times and must also ensure that other residents in the neighborhood are not disturbed.
  • Infants and young children who cannot swim require special attention from adults, especially near the pool.

Cleaning and laundry service

  • Please keep the accommodation clean and tidy during your stay! We appreciate it very much if you leave the Villa in the same condition as you found it on your arrival.
  • Bedlinen and towels are changed every 7 days, cleaning is done once a week. These services are included in the booking price.
  • If you require additional services, we have to charge for it, please contact the host. 
  • Please note that dishes should only be returned to the cupboards when washed. The same applies to cutlery, pots and all other kitchen utensils that you have used.

Waste and Garbage

  • Please throw your waste and garbage into the container located in the wall niche on the roadside.
  • No waste, leftovers, harmful liquids or similar are allowed to be thrown or poured into the washing sink, shower and toilets.
  • Hygiene articles (sanitary napkins, tampons, cotton swabs, etc.) belong in the provided waste container in the bathroom. These products disposed in the toilet bowl may lead to severe blockages.

Terrace

  • Sun umbrellas must be closed, put down and stored away every night or if you leave the premise. The umbrella stands can be left in place.
  • If strong winds are expected, please carry glasses, tableware and pillows into the house and move all outside furniture at least in the sheltered corner of the barbecue area or contact the host. Strong gusts of wind are typical for that region. They can be very dangerous, occur unexpectetly and cause severe damage!

Swimming Pool

  • The use of the swimming pool is at your own risk.
  • Children must be constantly supervised.
  • A full body shower before using the swimming pool should be a matter of course.
  • You should not go wet into the house, the floor could be slippery.
  • Indoor furniture may not be used with wet clothes.
  • It is not permitted to enter the pool with glass objects as well as bathing with shoes.
  • The swimming pool is, depending on the weather, open from the beginning of (May) June to the end of September (October).
  • The host ensures the cleaning of the pool every third day between 07:00 AM and 09:00 AM or otherwise agreed with you.

Barbecue

  • Only the designated barbecue utensils may be used, not the regular kitchen tools.
  • While grilling, keep the fire under constant control. In summer, everything in the nature is very dry and easyly flammable.
  • Please do not barbecue in case of strong winds or if the weather forecast predicts such winds.
  • After grilling, close the grill with the protection steel plate. This prevents hot ash from escaping if it becomes windy during the night. Please deposit the cold ash in the provided ash container the next morning.
  • Never put hot ashes in an ordinary waste bin. This means very high fire hazard!

Smoking

  • You are welcome to smoke on the terrace or balcony, inside the house it is forbidden. We ask you to dispose of cigarette butts only in the ashtrays provided. Do not carelessly throw cigarette butts into the grounds or over the walls. There is an increased risk of fire here, especially in summer! Enough ashtrays are available to be used.
  • Before you empty an ashtray into the waste bin, make sure that the cigarette remains are cold and no longer glowing.

Night´s Rest

  • Night´s rest is from 11:00 PM to 08:00 AM in the next morning. In appreciation of other guests in your neighbourhood, please avoid making any loud noise between this time.

Parties and live music

  • You are not allowed to have parties or live music in the house and/or on the property. If you disturb public order by making noise and do not calm down after being warned, this may be considered a serious breach of the terms of the rental agreement and may result in appropriate consequences. Please see under item “Rights and Obligations of the Host and the Owners”.

Pets

  • Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate house pets, without exception.

Rights and Obligations of the Host and the Owners

  • The host is not allowed to enter the rented property when you are absent. Exceptions to this are particular situations in order to prevent foreseeable damage or danger (in case of water leakage, fire, etc.). The host is obliged to inform you immediately afterwards about what has happened in your absence.
  • If the host has well-founded indications that the applicable terms of use have been broken and, as a result, a damage may have been occurred, you are obliged to let her enter the rented unit to check this.
  • If you still do not comply with the house rules, in spite of a warning, this may be considered a serious breach of the terms of use of the rental agreement. In that case, the owner is entitled to terminate the rental contract, which comes into force immediately and without prior notice. You are obliged to leave the Villa definitively within two hours and you are not entitled to demand a refund of the accommodation price paid from the owner.

Damage and Security Deposit

  • Before you check into the Villa, you must transfer a deposit of 300 EUR to the host’s account or pay the amount in cash. The deposit will serve the owner as security for any damages in the house, to the furniture and appliances caused by you.
  • It would be appropriate to report any damage, you have caused during your stay, immediately as it occurs.
  • A special cleaning that is required due to the particularly poor condition in which you have returned the Villa to the owner may also be considered as damage and therefore invoiced.
  • The owner is entitled to cover all the damages, caused by you, from the deposit. If the deposit sum does not cover the damage costs, you are obliged to pay the difference up to the total damage amount directly to the owner.
  • If you loose keys, we ask for your understanding, that we will charge you for the duplication.
  • If no cost-relevant damage has occurred, the host is obliged to return the deposit in full to you immediately on check-out in cash again or by bank transfer within seven working days after departure.

Departure

  • You are kindly requested to take care of your goods and valuable things left in the Villa. The host and the owners are not liable for any losses. If you misplace something in the house, you should let us know, so we can look for the item during the changeover and vacation rental cleaning.
  • Before returning the keys, you and your host together will make a final check of the rooms and the outdoor area of the property to see if there is any damage caused by you.
  • No leftover groceries or beverages should be left in the Villa on departure.
  • No items may be taken from the Villa and taken home.

Complaints

  • If you have problems during the stay such as insufficient cleaning, damage or other irregularities, the host should be informed immediately, preferably by phone. So the problem could be solved promptly. Complaints in writing, are to be sent to the e-mail address of your host Melani.
